501 Pharmarcy’s own Han Su is going to test his skills in the Chatham County Senior Games taking place from April 28 through May 12, 2023.
With the holidays quickly approaching, 501 Pharmacy is committed to giving back this season! That is why we have two donation drop-offs at the pharmacy. We are so excited to support The Chatham Reads Foundation and Toys for Tots this year.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our “Drug Take Back” day on Friday, April 24, 2020. This event was a collaborative community effort with the Chatham County Sheriff’s department and the non-profit Safest Drug organization. We were so excited to team up with these two groups to give customers and others in the community a way to turn in over-the-counter and prescription items that they did not want in their homes.

We would also like to thank Chatham Journal Newspaper for their awesome write-up on the event that you can read here.
We had customers place their unwanted or expired prescription or over-the-counter medicines in bags before dropping them off at our drive-thru window. After 4 p.m. that day, a deputy from the Chatham County Sheriff’s department picked up the boxes of medicine to dispose of them properly.
Getting rid of your unwanted medication this way is safer for the environment. It’s one of the safest and most responsible ways to do it.
We hope to be able to do this kind of drug take back event on a quarterly basis.
Safest Drug is a non-profit organization that supports community-wide efforts, like the 501 Pharmacy Take Back effort, to ensure pharmaceutical drug waste is properly disposed. They believe that keeping unwanted or expired prescription and over-the-counter medication out of home environments can save lives.
Who can resist Girl Scout Cookies? Not us, and we are excited to announce that Troop 4166 will be selling cookies outside of 501 Pharmacy on Friday, February 21, and Friday, February 28, 2020, from 4 until 6 p.m.

This will be the third time we have had Troop 4166 out to 501 Pharmacy and their previous dates were so much fun! We hope you will stop by and support their cause on Friday, February 21, and Friday, February 28.
This year, there is one new cookie that you have to try, the Lemon-Ups! Each Lemon-Ups has a motivational message on it. Here is a list of all the cookies for sell this year:
**Some cookies are only available in select areas.
When you make a Girl Scout Cookie purchase, you’re helping the next generation of young female entrepreneurs get an important taste of what it takes to be successful—teamwork, planning, and a positive outlook (and that’s just the beginning). Because proceeds from your purchase stay local, you help the awesome entrepreneurs who sell Girl Scout Cookies in your community power new experiences for themselves and their troop. Whether it’s a trip she’ll never forget, a STEM activity that opens her mind, a service project that changes her community, or the chance to build a lifetime of memories at camp—Girl Scout Cookies make it all happen!
