Take Control of Your Health from Home with FREE Remote Patient Monitoring

501 Pharmacy Remote Patient Monitoring

For years, we’ve been helping our patients stay on top of their health right from the comfort of home, and we want to make sure you aren’t missing out!

Through our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program, you get a direct line between you, your 501 Pharmacy team, and your doctors. We regularly review your medications, keep a close eye on ongoing health conditions, and seamlessly coordinate your care—all without you needing to make an extra trip to the clinic!

Meet Ruth and the Beloved “Drug Bug” Delivery Service 🚗💨

501-Rx-Pharmancy-Chapel-Hill-Drug-Bug-02

We believe exceptional service goes far beyond the pharmacy counter, and our wonderful delivery driver, Ruth, is the absolute heart of that mission!

Rain or shine, Ruth zips around town in our easy-to-spot “Drug Bug” to make sure your medications arrive safely, on time, and with a warm, friendly smile. She’s an essential part of the 501 Pharmacy family, and we’re so grateful for the kindness, care, and dedication she brings to our patients every single day.

Fast, Free, and Same-Day Delivery

Why deal with big-box online mail orders or wait days for FedEx or UPS when you can get true hometown service?

  • Free Local Delivery: If your home or office is within a five-mile radius of our pharmacy (69 Knox Way in Chapel Hill), delivery is completely on us! (Outside the five-mile radius? Give us a call at 984-999-0501. We consider addresses on a case-by-case basis!)
  • Same-Day Service: Urgent prescription or getting ready to head out of town? We can often bring your medications right to your door that very same day.

Showing Ruth Some Love 💙

Want to show Ruth a little extra appreciation when she drops off your prescriptions? While tipping is never required or expected, if you feel Ruth has provided outstanding service and would like to recognize her efforts, a tip is always greatly appreciated! Your kind words, warm smiles, and generosity mean the world to her and our entire team.

Save the Tatas: October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗🎀

UNC Cancer Center

October is here, and we’re turning the pharmacy pink! National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to celebrate survivors, stand with those currently in the fight, and remind the amazing women in our community to schedule their routine mammograms. Early detection saves lives!

Supporting this cause hits close to home for us. Just last month, Han’s sons, Kai and Kasen, took to the water with NCAC for Swim Across America. Thanks to your generosity, they raised critical funds directly for UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center in Chapel HIll.

UNC Lineberger provides world-class care and groundbreaking research for patients and families affected by breast cancer. Whether you’re making a donation, wearing pink, or simply checking in on the women you love, every bit of awareness counts!

Treat Your Feet: Safe, Medical, Waterless Pedicures with Wendy 🦶✨

Waterless Pedicures in Chapel Hill at 501 Pharmacy

If you can’t reach your feet, prefer to leave foot care to the pros, or just can’t convince your partner to go anywhere near them—we’ve got fantastic news for you!

We are excited to highlight Wendy with Pedi Cure, who provides safe, medical, waterless pedicures right down the road! Medical pedicures are a great option for seniors, diabetics, or anyone looking for clean, professional, and thorough foot care without the hygienic risks of traditional soaking tubs.

Wendy is currently accepting new appointments at Avance Primary Care in South Chapel Hill (Briar Chapel location).

We’re a Chatham Reads Book Drop-Off Site

501 Pharamcy Chatham Reads

We are so happy to be a drop-off site for Chatham Education Foundation‘s Chatham Reads book drive again this year!

Chatham Reads works with Chatham County Schools and local organizations to place books directly into the hands of children who need them most. This helps build strong reading habits and sets students up for success from kindergarten all the way through high school.

Drop off your new or gently used books for K–12 reading levels. Together, we can put fantastic stories into young hands across Chatham County!
