Spring has sprung and we are excited to be getting out in the community, enjoying the weather, and sponsoring some awesome local events!
501 Pharmacy is making it easy for you to give to your favorite charities during the holiday season. We are a drop-off spot for Toys for Tots, Briar Chapel PORCH, ReRUN, Lions for Sight, and Chatham Education Foundation. Keep reading for information on how to donate to these great causes.
Thank you so much to everyone who has already brought in a toy for Toys for Tots! We have already had to have our box picked up once and it is filling up again!
If you haven’t donated, please consider bringing in a toy next time you are at the pharmacy. All of the toys go to less fortunate children in Chatham County.
We are collecting food donations for Briar Chapel PORCH – a grassroots hunger relief organization. Donations go to the Chatham OutReach Alliance (CORA) food pantry and our local schools.
Han’s wife, Kristy, (and our neighbor at Carolina Convenient Care) and his daughter, Abby, are collecting gently used shoes to be able to go on their church mission trip next summer to Costa Rica.
The shoes go to ReRUN, an organization that collects gently used running shoes and then distributes them to those in need.
Since Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917, Lions have worked on projects designed to prevent blindness, restore eyesight and improve eye health and eye care for hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
We are collecting unused glasses. Please consider donating to this awesome cause.
Chatham Reads and Chatham Education Foundation are holding a holiday book drive of new and gently used books to distribute to children in Chatham County. Please drop your books off at 501 Pharmacy before December 17, 2018.
Make plans to join us this Friday for ice cream as part of the Restuarant Give Back Program. We will donating 50% of our ice cream sales that day.
