Spring has sprung and we are excited to be getting out in the community, enjoying the weather, and sponsoring some awesome local events!
Fearrington Village Annual Open Studio Tour 2019: April 13-14
Nineteen Fearrington artists will open their studios to welcome visitors for the Fearrington Village 5th Annual Open Studio Tour on April 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. 501 Pharmacy is proud to be a sponsor for this year’s event!
Enjoy and purchase watercolor, oil, and acrylic paintings; pastels, screen prints, basketry, jewelry, wood art, photography, mixed media, and sculpture.
A “Meet the Artists Reception/Exhibit” will be held at The Gathering Place from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday evening, April 12th.
Make sure you invite “Out of Fearrington” guests. You can register guests online and an artist host will welcome them at the door.
The reception and self-guided tour are free, and everyone is welcome.
Artist Studios at Fearrington Village is a community of visual artists who live in beautiful Fearrington Village. Fearrington Village is located off US15-501, just eight miles south of Chapel Hill.

Take CF Away Cycle & 5K: May 4
Ready to bike and run for a great cause? We are an Elite sponsor of the Take CF Away Cycle & 5K on May 4, 2019!
This truly unique event is held in honor of two brave little girls, Kelsie (age 8) and Mackenzie (age 3), both of whom were born with chronic, progressive, and incurable disease called Cystic Fibrosis. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, an organization that is working tirelessly to fund life-saving research that will improve the lives of those affected by CF and hopefully one day discover a cure.
Participants can choose between a 5k run/walk, a 42-mile bike ride, or a 64-mile bike ride, and enjoy the lunchtime family-friendly activities. All runners and riders will begin at the start/finish line located at the Chatham County Court House, just behind the Chatham Historical Museum.
Bring in your participant bib and receive a free scoop of ice cream!
The BC Games: May 17-19
We are also sponsoring the first BC Games on May 17-19. Come out for the first 5K, 1 mile kids fun run, and multi-day Pickleball Tournament being held at Briar Chapel to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Sure to be a fun time for a good cause!
