We are excepting donations for Chatham Outreach Alliance (CORA) this December 2019.

We are collecting food donations for Briar Chapel PORCH – a grassroots hunger-relief organization. Donations go to the Chatham OutReach Alliance (CORA) food pantry and our local schools. Donations are picked up every Friday. Please consider donating if you are able.

CORA accepts donations of shelf-stable foods — canned fruit/vegetables, boxed cereals, rice, pasta, baking mix and shelf-stable specialty items (drink mix, coffee, tea, pancake mix, condiments, herbs and spices, ethnic foods, other pantry staples, etc.). They also accept paper products and some personal hygiene items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, disposable razors, etc. For a list of the items that are most needed and the items that we usually have stocked, click here.

Thank You, Chatham Journal

If you follow us on Facebook, you have probably seen some of the awesome videos that Chatham Journal Newspaper has shared about us. We would like to thank them for all their support during these trying times.

Stay safe and healthy! We look forward to seeing you back inside the pharmacy soon. As always, call us at 984-999-0501 with any questions or concerns you have.

Summer Camps, Come See Us for Ice Cream

For three years in a row, we have had the pleasure of hosting the kids from Primrose School of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel Summer Camp for ice cream every Friday at 501 Pharmacy. It is always so much fun to have them come by and we love working with the summer camp to provide a fun field trip for their participants.

If you are looking for something to do this summer, we would love for you to bring your school or group by to enjoy ice cream from our local creamery partner, Maple View Farms, in Hillsborough, NC! Our flavors are on rotation, in conjunction with Maple View Farm’s seasonal selection so there is always something new to try! Check out all the flavors we currently have and come see us soon to cool off this summer!

About Maple View Farm

In January 2001, Maple View Ice Cream opened its doors on New Year’s Day. To this day, those doors remain open! The idea for making delicious homemade ice cream came from Robert Nutter, the founder of Maple View Farm, and his daughter, Muffin Nutter Brosig. With the success of bottling fresh Maple View Farm milk, Muffin and her father decided that the community would appreciate and enjoy fresh local ice cream. After going to ice cream school at Penn State, their dream became a reality. Muffin and her father believed that premium ice cream must be hand-crafted in smaller batches and made with the freshest cream and highest quality ingredients available. They decided to use as many local ingredients as possible, local berries, North Carolina pecans, Orange County honey and cream from the cows grazing in the pastures of Maple View Farm. Their delicious Maple View Ice Cream is true cow to cone. Learn more at MapleViewFarm.com.
