Chapel Hill Magazine’s annual poll is back. Vote for your favorites in dining, retail, services, home and garden, and art and entertainment. We are listed under Services and would love for you to vote for us as your Favorite Pharmacy!

Vote for 501 Pharmacy for Best of Chapel Hill

We have taken home the title of “Favorite Pharmacy” for the last three years and we are hoping to go for the four-peat*.

Voting ends on March 30, 2020. Winners will be announced in the July/August issue of Chapel Hill Magazine.

How to Vote

  • Visit ChapelHillMagazine.com.
  • The poll is divided by category: Dining, Retail, Services (where we are listed), Home & Garden, and Arts and Entertainment. This way you can come back to finish the survey at any time instead of doing the entire thing in one sitting.
  • You are only allowed to vote once.
  • All questions are optional but readers are encouraged to complete the entire survey.
  • You can write in your favorites if they were not nominated.
  • Voting must be completed by March 30, 2020.

*A four-peat means the fourth consecutive championship or first-place finish by a single participant in a sports tournament or similar competitive enterprise.

Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday, November 27, 2019): Open 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 28, 2019): Closed

Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24, 2019): Open 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Christmas Day (Tuesday, December 25, 2019): Closed

New Year’s Eve (Tuesday, December 31, 2019): Open 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

New Year’s Day (Wednesday, January 1, 2020): Closed

How to Download the App

Click on the links below to download the RxLocal App for free for iPhone or for Android or text RXLOCAL to 64890. Then follow the step-by-step instructions below.

  1. Select “Register for an Account Now”
  2. Select North Carolina and Chapel Hill for the State and City
  3. Choose 501 Pharmacy
  4. Input your Last Name, Rx Number, and Date of Birth
  5. Input Username and Password
  6. Set Pin Number

How to Refill Medications Through the App

  1. Once you login to the app, select “Refill Medications”
  2. Click on the person who is needing to refill the medication
  3. Choose one or multiple medications needed to be refilled
  4. Select “Pick Up” or “Delivery” for your medication, then select “Submit Refill”
  5. Receive a confirmation email

How to Set up Reminders in the App

  1. Once you login to the app, select “Reminders”
  2. Touch “Create New Reminder”
  3. Select the person for whom you are creating a reminder
  4. Select the medication that you wish to create a reminder for and touch “Continue”
  5. Use the tabs at the top to select the frequency of your reminder and touch “Continue”
  6. Set up the reminder time and touch “Save Reminder”

We did it! We won “Favorite Pharmacy” in Chapel Hill Magazine’s Best of Chapel Hill 2019 Issue. This is the third year in a row since opening that we have taken home the title of favorite pharmacy.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote.

In case you missed out this year, Chapel Hill Magazine has an annual poll which allows you to vote for your favorites in dining, retail, services, home and garden, and art and entertainment. We would also like to give a shoutout to one of our neighbors Capp’s Pizzeria & Trattoria. They took home the award for best pizza.
