We will be providing FREE flu shots to anyone with Medicare B, TRICARE, or Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Don’t have one of those? No problem! Flu shots are just $30.

We love getting to spend time with you outside of the pharmacy and one of our favorite things to do is hang out with you at community events! Here are a few of the events that we will be participating in this month. Mark the date on your calendar and make sure you stop by our table and say hello, get a flu shot, cheer us on, and pick up some swag!

Fourth Annual Dragon Boat Festival – September 23, 2017

Join us at the Triangle’s Fourth Annual Dragon Boat Festival at Cary’s Koka Booth Amphitheater on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

This celebration of Asian culture includes dragon boat races, dozens of live stage performances, games for kids, food vendors, cultural and health information booths, and more!

The event is from 9 a.m. until 4: 30 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 on the day of the event. Children 12 and under get in free and for seniors, tickets are $4 in advance and $7 on the day of the event.

Flu Shots on Site

We know getting the flu shot is no fun. Go ahead and get it out of the way so you do not have to worry about it as the weather gets colder. Plus, skip out on having to make a special trip to get yours done later in the year. Getting the flu shot is not just about protecting yourself, it also helps the community. When you get the flu shot you are helping keep seniors and kids safe.

Abundance NC’s 10th Annual Pepper Festival – September 24, 2017

Pepperfest is celebrating its’ 10th year on Sunday, September 24, 2017, and we will be there to help them celebrate! This event takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. at Great Meadow Park at Briar Chapel in Chapel Hill. Pepperfest is a celebration of the harvest, cooler weather, and a chance to savor the deliciousness of Carolina peppers!

Come hungry to hang out with friends, listen to live music, and sample delicious pepper-themed beverages and dishes made by dozens of star chefs, brewers, distillers, and artisans.

Tickets are $30. Children, six and under get in free and kids ages seven to 12 get in for just $5.

Over the Edge 2017 – September 30, 2017

501 Pharmacy is raising money for Over the Edge 2017 to benefit Special Olympics North Carolina. We need to raise $1,000 by Septemeber 30th in order to send Han rappelling down a 30-story building! Donate through the website if you would like to see Han rappel down the Wells Fargo Capitol Center in Downtown Raleigh and help raise money for Special Olympics North Carolina.

Make sure you come out to the event on September 30, 2017, to cheer Han and the rest of the participants on. They are going to need it!

No purchase necessary. By submitting an entry to this contest sponsored by 501 Pharmacy, the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all of these Official Rules. Contest begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017, and ends on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at 5 p.m. Must be 18 or older to enter. Feedback must be submitted on the website before Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at 5 p.m. Only one entry per person. The contest is open only to permanent, legal U.S. residents 18 years of age as of August 29th, 2017. Employees of 501 Pharmacy and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) are not eligible. One name will be selected through a random drawing on Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Box seats are valued at approximately $196 per a ticket, the parking pass is valued at approximately $15, and the room at the Mariott is valued at approximately $100, for a total value of $507.
