Giving Back to the Community This Holiday Season
You know we love helping out our community! This holiday season, we served as a drop-off site for the Chatham Reads Book Drive and Toys for Tots. With your help, both of these efforts were a huge success! It warms our heart to know we could give back to such great organizations this holiday season.
Chatham Reads Book Drive
Our bin for Chatham Education Foundation‘s Chatham Reads book drive has been filled to the brim over two times already! The partnership led by Chatham County Schools, the Chatham Education Foundation, and other local community organizations aims to enhance literary and foster partnerships that are dedicated to ensuring reading resources are accessible to all Chatham County residents. We will continue to accept donations through the end of the month. Bring in your gently used (or brand new!) K-12 level books that you no longer need to help us fill the bin once again!
Toys for Tots
We’ve filled up our Toys for Tots bin not once, not twice, but three times! Thanks to everyone’s donations, we were able to provide a ton of gifts to less fortunate children in Chatham County, from games and puzzles to various toys for myriad ages. To date, the year-round children’s charity by the Marine Corps Reserve has distributed 677 million toys to 301 million deserving children! We will have our bin on-site through the day before Christmas Eve, so keep those donations coming!
Lend a Helping Hand
There’s no better way to spread the holiday cheer than helping those less fortunate than you. If you’re not able to come to the pharmacy in time to donate books or toys to our drives, you can donate directly to Toys for Tots here, and to the Chatham Education Foundation here.
