Putting the Cackalacky in North Carolina
Though we are best known for being a pharmacy, we’re much more than that! We have our in-house ice cream shop, in addition to a small market highlighting local products. One of those goods is Cackalacky, a North Carolina-based brand boasting a funny name, but serious stuff! Grilling Sauces
It’s prime grilling season, and we have a host of Cackalacky sauces to take your grilling game to the next level. Choose from the mustard-based Bold Gold; Tar Heels BBQ Sauce, made by Tar Heels for Tar Heels; the vinegar-style Secret Sauce; or the Cheerwine Sweet Sauce, a tomato-based marinade made with, you guessed it, Cheerwine—a “legendary handshake between lively Southern food and drink.”
Nuts
Cackalacky’s nuts are the perfect snack—they’re savory, filling, and easy to take on the go! The famous Beer-B-Q nuts are sweetened with real beer flavor and finished with Cackalacky’s secret barbecue spice blend, while the Spiced Nuts feature the same blend used to make Cackalacky’s flagship Pepper Sauce. Trust us, you won’t be able to get enough of them!
Coffee
Perk up via Cackalacky’s Gourmet Dark Roast Coffee Beans or the Bourbon Pecan Pie Coffee Beans, made up of the flavors of pecan pie, the essence of real Kentucky bourbon, and certified organic Honduras-grown Arabica beans. Fun fact: Cackalacky’s coffee beans are locally roasted at an independent contract micro-roasting facility in Raleigh!
Hot Sauces
Add a little kick to your meals with Cackalacky Pepper Sauce, which comes in Original, a blend of chile peppers and Cackalacky’s secret spices; Super Extra Hot, an extra-spicy version featuring Carolina Reaper peppers and clocking in at around 1,642,000 – 2,500,000 Scoville units (!).
