About Jennifer
Jennifer graduated from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2004. After working for a brief period in the Charlotte area, she returned to Chapel Hill for good and has served as a pharmacist in an independent pharmacy since 2015. Jennifer is most interested in the compounding aspect of pharmacy, and its benefits in hormone replacement therapy and skincare.

Have you been prescribed something that is only available in tablet/capsule form? Don’t worry—we may have an option for you!
Compounding is available for prescription items that may not be commercially available. It also offers alternative methods of treatment for kids, adults, and pets who have trouble taking medicines that are prescribed in tablet/capsule form.
We can compound things that are readily available on the market, but are much more competitive in price when we produce it for you. This is often an alternative for prescription creams, so please ask your 501 Pharmacy professional about this option.
Come in and place your order just like you would any normal prescription. 501 Pharmacy will confirm the ability to produce a compounding alternative and provide you with a time frame for production—usually within just 48 hours, and sometimes even just 24 hours, depending on the order!
